About the Krause Berry Farms Family

It started when Alf Krause planted 1 Acre of Strawberries in 1974.

Today, Krause Berry Farms & Estate Winery has expanded to over 200 acres growing and producing some of the Fraser Valley's best berries and vegetables.

Owned & Operated by Alf and Sandee Krause

Their commitment to ethical and sustainable farming has resulted in loyal guests spreading the word and returning year after year.

The abundance of delicious fresh berries & vegetables, combined with Sandee's creativity and passion for baking, led to the development of their ever expanding line of farm-made - handmade products in their Market, Bakery, Fudgery, Creamery & Porch.
Today the on-site Harvest Kitchen produces over 100 products.

Saddle Up in the Estate Winery for a Wine Tasting Experience.

The Western themed Estate Winery was another way to showcase the fruit grown and harvested on the farm. Producing award winning wines year after year and vegetarian menus developed in our Harvest Kitchen have made this family friendly winery a destination to be enjoyed by all.

The Farm Welcomes Guests Year Round.

From January to May The Estate Winery is open select days, and the Market & Bakery remain closed. Guests are still able to pick up frozen berries, pies, ice cream, frozen meals and preserves from the winery.  Come mid May, the whole farm opens up again to prepare for berry season and remains open till December for the holiday season.

Mission Statement:

To grow the best quality food, and encourage guests to participate in their food experience. We strive to do this by integrating new growing techniques with traditional methods, to use the whole green farming approach, along with implementing IPM (integrated pest management) on our berry farm.

We are willing to try new technology that both enhances the quality of the products we grow, while protecting our environment. Our farm and field workers are working together to provide a clean, safe and fun environment at our family owned and operated farm.

We commit to incorporating the fullness of integrity, fairness, fun, and hard work into all we do.  We are continually looking for, and incorporating new ideas to enhance and involve the community.

We accept the social responsibilities inherent to being part of an agriculture industry, community, and world larger than ourselves. We focus on viability, while at the same time commit to the values of justice and caring.

We respect our staff and our guests because it is through their support, we are able to continue farming and producing local food.
