Stollen is a fruit bread containing dried fruit and often covered with powdered icing sugar. The bread is usually made with chopped dried fruit, nuts and spices. Stollen is a traditional German bread usually eaten during the Christmas season.
What is so special about our farm stollen? We dry our own berries to use in the mix and make our own marzipan for the centre of the bread. It is chock full of slivered almonds then heavily dusted with powdered sugar.
